Our Objectives as a Charity

Social Arts for Education (SAFE) is a charity set up to advance education for the public benefit of children aged 11 to 18 years of age, who are autistic, or who have been bullied, by providing specialist teaching and an adapted curriculum and learning environment tailored to meet each individual’s needs.

Fundraising

We regularly hold fundraising events such as quiz nights, to increase awareness of the work we do and to raise funds for our school.

Forthcoming events will be advertised on this page.

If you would like to support SAFE in the work we do by making a donation, please contact our office manager.

We are able to claim gift aid on donations – a copy of the Gift Aid form is available here

How Charitable Donations Help

Social Arts for Education is a registered charity that serves children who have often had a very tough time accessing appropriate education.

We are a non-profit organisation with children at the centre of our thinking. All of the children who come to us have struggled in some way with mainstream education. Most have a diagnosis of autism or a related condition, and many have been bullied.

The work we do seeks to address the traumas and difficulties suffered by our young people, and help them to close the gap in attainment and outcomes between them and their peers. Every charitable donation we receive helps us to fulfil this end, by providing resources and access to specialist interventions.

Sometimes it is difficult to put into words how much we see the children here grow as people.  We are extremely proud of each and every one of  them, and of what they achieve on a daily basis.
